News & A Haircut

Mike got some news yesterday that he was excited about. He got asked to be on the Wichita County 4-H Assoc. Board. This is a very big deal to him. And I think he was really honored that the people he respects so much, thought of him and wanted him. It won't be official until the next board meeting in a few months. But we're proud of him!

So, Sam was born with a headful of hair. Black, thick, straight hair. Tons of it! He's had 4 haircuts since being born. He was in DIRE need of another. Mike had been wanting to cut it short, like Mason's, but I wasn't quite ready to get rid of his baby curls. Mason was 2 before I finally cut his curls off! But yesterday I let Amber, his babysitter, help me cut it after work. And it is short!! I still want to cry, but he looks so cute. Doesn't look like a little baby at all anymore, maybe that's why I'm sad!!
